Just as we all know that Google Adsense is one of the best web monetization platforms that are reliable in advertisement throughout the globe and most new and old web owners are dependent on Adsense for earning.

However, due to some adjustments in the Adsense Policy, it's becoming difficult for new bloggers to monetize their blog using Google Adsense due to many reasons which Low-Value content is one of the major reasons Adsense doesn't approve new blogs easily.

Here you will be learning how to fix low-value content in your blog so that you can get Adsense approval for your blog.

As a blogger, you need to be conversant with the Adsense policy and ensure you regularly check for new Adsense policy updates.

Talking about low-value content, I once suffered from it and it delayed my blog approval for up to a year, luckily enough, I was able to overcome low-value content and my blog got approved, so am sharing with you my personal experience on how I overcame Low-Value content for my blog.

For Adsense to approve your blog, there are four important pages you need to have in your blog which are;

  • Privacy Policy
  • About Us
  • Contact Us and
  • Disclaimer

Also, your blog content must not promote illegalities such as hacking, smoking, danger, violence, adult content, etc.

You need to have a good-looking template for your blog which you want to use for Adsense (Check out this link for free premium blogger templates).

You must be the admin of the blog you want to use for Adsense because you need to edit the blog template source code in order to add verification codes.

Important Note: There is no particular formula to get Adsense approval, or to determine how Adsense chooses a website that will be approved, all you need to do is to make sure your blog meets up to all their criteria.

What is Adsense Low-Value Content?

Literally, Low-value content simply means that your content may solve audience problems, but is copied from other blogs or content that doesn't produce a lot of meaning to users and to the Adsense review specialist.

Once you have applied for Adsense, the Google Adsense Review team will visit your blog to review your blog, not just the homepage URL but every single link related to your blog.

After reviewing your posts (including pages) and your blog post contents seems not to make enough meaning to the specialist then, you will be rejected for low-value content.

On the other hand, High-value contents are the contents that are capable of solving problems, but is very unique (not plagiarized) and make meaning to the Adsense specialist.

Below are other important factors to put in place in order to resolve the low-value content of your blog in order to get Adsense approval.

Easy Website Navigation

Most bloggers don't know that it's Google's specialist which is a real human that reviews blogs waiting for approval and the review is done manually.

For the AdSense Specialist to access your blog effectively your blog must be easy to navigate and once the specialist finds your blog to be difficult to navigate, immediately your blog will be rejected for improper blog navigation.

Most times the issue of blog navigation might be as a result of the template you applied to your Blogger blog or WordPress blog.

You as a serious blogger seeking Adsense approval, I recommend that you buy a cool News or Magazine template that will make your blog unique and easy to navigate.

Submitted URL not on Google Search Console

There is one popular saying that "Fish cannot survive long outside water". Here your blog is the fish and the Google Search console is the water.

It's no longer a new story that your blog cannot get Adsense approval if it is not linked to the Google Search Console tool. This is because, from the GSC tool, Adsense Specialist can be able to get all the links related to your site for proper review.

This simply means that you need to submit your website sitemap to Google using your GSC dashboard.

To add your website sitemap to Google all you need to, first of all, generate your website sitemap. You can generate your blog site map online by visiting Labnol Online Sitemap Generator.

Note that the Labnol Sitemap Generator will not only create for you a sitemap but will also create a robot.txt file which you can add to your blog. Right inside the robot.txt file is where you will see your sitemap.

You should copy the sitemap linked and head over to the Google Search Console sitemap link. You will be asked to select a property to which you want to add the sitemap.

After you have selected your preferred property to which you want to submit your sitemap then you click on the sitemap button as shown in the image below.

At number 2 is where you will paste the sitemap link that was generated by the Labnol Tool, the number 3 simply indicates Submit. After submitting your blog sitemap to Google Search Console, allow Google to discover your link automatically.

If you fail to submit your sitemap to Google, your blog cannot be approved for Adsense.

Post more Quality Contents

After submitting your sitemap to the Google Search Console, ensure that you write high-quality posts with not less than 1000 words.

Just as stated earlier, low-value content posts are posts that don't make much meaning to the Adsense review team, write a well-detailed post with more than 1000 words.

If you have applied for Adsense before and you were rejected, give a gap of one week before applying again. Within that space of one week, post more quality posts every day.

When you hear the word unique posts, it doesn't mean that a similar post such not exist on the web, what it mean is that the write-up should be based on your own experience.

Your write-ups should be unique and should be based on what you have seen, learned, or taste, etc.

Arrange your blog posts

While trying to make your website navigable, also ensure that your blog posts are arranged in a good manner based on categories (for WordPress blogs) or Labels (for Blogspot blogs).

When you arrange your blog posts very good it makes it easy for your audience to visit other interesting posts which can help to increase your website page views and reduce your bounce rate.

Use Optimized Pictures for Posts

Images are very necessary for posts, while creating the image to use for your post, let the image reflect the topic of that post.

Also, while using images ensure they are optimized. Images in Webp format are preferred.

The reason is that images in Webp format are highly compressed without losing the image quality. For instance, an image having a weight of 5Mb in PNG or JPG format can be reduced to 305Kb in Webp format and the image will still retain its quality.

This will help to increase your website speed and indirectly improve your web ranking because website speed is an important factor in SEO ranking.

Use this our Webp image conversion tool to convert your PNG, JPG images to the WEBP formats

Conclusion.
